New 26/27 Nations League Kits: Wales, Slovakia, and Armenia
The World Cup is finished, Spain have their second star, and European international football has moved straight to the UEFA Nations League. The league phase runs from 24th September to 17th November, and some nations have used the opportunity to launch new shirts.
These are the latest Nations League kit drops since the World Cup, and they will be worn in the latest group games. Here's what each of them looks like, who made them, the release date, and the football matches they will be worn in.
Wales 2026-28 Home & Away
The biggest story here is the change in their kit maker. Wales have ended their 13-year partnership with Adidas, and this is the first collection of the new partnership. SUDU only arrived in English football recently with Wolverhampton Wanderers and designed the Wales kits with player input on fit and construction.

The design process took about a year, with players from the men's and women's teams involved. The home shirt is Welsh red with a tonal geometric pattern inspired by traditional double cloth weaving and tapestry. It was then finished with a white Y-neck collar and cuffs. It went on sale on 7 August, and the goalkeeper kits followed on the 14th of the same month.

Wales’ away shirt is a bright yellow version of the same pattern, with a dark green polo collar, yellow striped tipping and matching ribbed cuffs. Sales for this jersey started on 28th August, and the yellow was inspired by the daffodil, the national flower of Wales. The national crest is on the left chest, and the black SUDU logo is on the right.
These shirts will be worn for a long time across the 2026/27 and 2027/28 campaigns. It will cover the Nations League, Euro 2028 qualifiers, and friendlies.
Wales played their first game in this kit against Portugal, losing 1-0 after João Félix scored the only goal. They were promoted back to League A after topping League B. Now, Craig Bellamy's side has been drawn with Portugal, Denmark, and Norway.
Slovakia 2026/27 Home & Away
The Slovak Football Association (SFZ) unveiled the new kits at Vydrica in Bratislava on Thursday, 24th September. This is two days before the Sokoli open their Nations League campaign. The SFZ drew inspiration from Slovak football's history, but it had a modern take instead of a copy of old shirts. The design was done with Michal Novotný and his creative agency, Love Them Works, who wanted to bring streetwear into the kit.

The blue shirt had its design inspired by Kriváň, Slovakia's best-known peak. It was printed in the middle of the chest with snowy, faded peaks so it blends into the design. The white shirt is built around two falcon heads, which Novotný says are there to shape the players’ shoulders.
On the supply side, Macron has been the SFZ’s technical partner since August 2024, when it replaced Nike. This launch also brings women's cuts, which captain Dominika Škorvánková said will help the shirts fit players better.
Slovakia are kicking off their Nations League in League C Group 3 with Kazakhstan, the Faroe Islands and Moldova. So, the new kits will debut straight away. They will play their first game against Moldova on 26th September and will play 3 days later against Kazakhstan on the 29th. There are other fixtures running from October 2nd to November 16th in the Nations League.
Armenia 2026/27 Home & Away
Macron is also the kit supplier for the Armenian Football National Team, and they have gone for heritage over hype. The design of both shirts draws on centuries of Armenian manuscript art and calligraphy.

The home shirt is deep red with gold on the collar, sleeves, and logos. Its all-over embossed pattern is based on trchnagir, traditional Armenian bird script, with gold bird motifs running down the sides. The away shirt is mostly white with deep red trims and a multi-coloured band down the left side taken from the illuminated borders of old manuscripts.
Macron is now a familiar partner, having made Armenia's 2022 kits and their 2024/25 kits. In the Nations League, Armenia are in League C Group 2 with Montenegro, Cyprus, and Latvia. The team starts with two home games in Yerevan before they make two trips away.
On the 25th of September, Armenia will play against Latvia, with another fixture 3 days later against Montenegro. There will be four more fixtures running from the 2nd of October to the 15th of November.
All three kits are being worn in the Nations League, so each one will get its first proper test across the September, October, and November games.
