All 2026 World Cup Jerseys Ranked By Design and Creativity All 2026 World Cup Jerseys Ranked By Design and Creativity

For the first time in history, there were 48 teams in the World Cup. In 104 matches, these teams proudly represented their nations, donning their latest kits. Here, we’ve got the 2026 World Cup jerseys ranked according to their level of design and creativity.

This list is a result of a meticulous process. First, we procured all 105 home, away, and third kits for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Then, our team of jersey experts analysed each kit’s designs, creativity, and uniqueness. The outcome of that process is this list of the top 11 jerseys at the event.

Let’s dive in!

1. Argentina (Away)

Argentina 25/26 Black/Blue Away Jersey

The former World champions were keen on defending their title in class and style. With a black base, Argentina’s away kit is accented by sky blue and white shades of swirling, tumbling linework with floral-like flourishes across the torso.

Produced by Adidas, the Fileteado Porteño folk art style – a traditional ornamental style splattered all over the streets of the country’s capital city, Buenos Aires – inspired the design. Captain Lionel Messi and his team famously donned the jersey in the semifinal against England, a rematch of the 1986 World Cup semifinal.

2. Uruguay (Away)

Uruguay 2026 Navy Blue World Cup Away Jersey

Designed by Nike, Uruguay did a call back to the kit that led them to glory in the first-ever World Cup in 1930. Unfortunately, history had no place here, as they were eliminated in the group stages.

Having a dark navy base and a crew neck collar, the blue geometric pattern across the chest and shoulder is in honour of the architectural design of Montevideo’s Estadio Centenario, where they triumphed in 1930. The glowing design on the chest has earned it a comparison to the Wakandan armour from Marvel's Black Panther.

3. Japan (Away)

Japan 2026 Off-White/Black Away Women Jersey

The off-white base is accented by 12 vertical pinstripes running down the shirt from top to bottom. Eleven of those pinstripes represent the players on the pitch, while the 12th bold, red pinstripe in the centre represents the heart of the team and the Japanese football family as a whole. Its other details include the retro Adidas Trefoil logo and black ribbed crewneck collar and sleeve trims.

4. Curaçao (Away)

Curaçao 26/27 Pastel Yellow World Cup 3 Stripes Away Jersey

Despite being a competition first-timer, Curaçao instantly made its mark on the pitch and on the 2026 World Cup jersey rankings with a lemon yellow away kit, complemented with royal blue accents. Designed by Adidas, the kit, with the tricolour stripes on the shoulders, carries the colourful architecture of the Caribbean island's capital city of Willemstad, most notably colourful buildings along the waterways in the island's Punda and Otrobanda districts.

5. Germany (Home)

Germany 2026 White Authentic Home Jersey

The 2014 World Cup champions have the first home jersey on this list. Embodying the traditional jersey style of the Germans, the shirt is predominantly white with a V-patterned diamond and chevron graphic on the chest in Germany’s black, red and gold. This Adidas kit is reminiscent of Germany's last two World Cup conquests in 1990 and 2014.

6. Mexico (Home)

Mexico 2026 Green Home Jersey

With the 2026 kit, the co-hosts paid homage to their shirt from the 1998 World Cup. Vibrant green base featuring a bold feathered serpent motif and a central Aztec Sun Stone graphic across the chest. With red and white accents on the collar and sleeve cuffs, Adidas also imprinted “SOMOS MEXICO” (We are Mexico) just beneath the collar on the back. The Mexicans donned the kit in the opening game of the 2026 World Cup against South Africa, beating Bafana Bafana 2-0.

7. Spain (Away)

Spain 2026 White/Red Away Kids Jersey Set

The away kit of the 2026 World Cup winners features an off-white base with bold burgundy and gold accents. A tribute to Spanish literature and heritage, the subtle spiral pattern woven into the fabric is inspired by ancient manuscripts and time-worn book pages. The sleeve cuffs, Adidas’ signature three stripes and the crew-neck collar come in red, gold and burgundy combinations.

8. France (Away)

France 2026 World Cup Mint Green Away Jersey

Named Liberté and designed by Nike, the mint green kit is inspired by the Statue of Liberty and honours the historical alliance between France and the USA, especially with the latter hosting the World Cup. It features metallic copper logos and the French blue, white and red on the sleeve cuffs.

9. Portugal (Home)

Portugal 2026 Red/Blue Home Long Sleeves Jersey

Puma’s first kit on this list has a bold, red base with green accents on the crew-neck collar and cuffs. It features a subtle, wave-like graphic pattern across it that mirrors the nation’s maritime history and connection to the ocean. While donning the jersey, captain Cristiano Ronaldo made history by becoming the first player to score in six different editions of the World Cup.

10. France (Home)

France 2026 Blue/White World Cup Home Kids Jersey Set

The Les Blues home jersey features a deep “Game Royal” blue base and is designed by Nike. Like the away jersey, the Statue of Liberty inspired its metallic copper logos and crest. With a white fold-over collar and the French blue, white and red on its sleeve cuffs, it has a tonal, repeating FFF-inspired graphic across the fabric.

11. Senegal (Away)

Senegal 2026 Green/Red/Yellow World Cup Away Kids Jersey Set

The rhythm and energy of Senegalese music are a prominent theme of the away kit. The shirt features a deep green base with a yellow crew-neck collar and striking red accents on the sides. Designed by Puma, a vibrant kaleidoscopic graphic pattern runs down the centre of the torso.
